Seminar on "Story Boarding and Harmony"

SRM Sivaji Ganesan Film Institute, as a part of its curriculum, conducted a Seminar on “Story Boarding and Harmony” , on 19.07.2010 at the Vadapalani Campus.  Thiru Gnana. Rajasekaran, Dean, SRM Sivaji Ganesan Film Institute delivered the welcome address and introduced Ms. LILLY VOGELESANG from the “TOON BOOM ANIMATIONS Inc.”, Toronto, Canada,

            Ms. Volgelesang briefed about the Toon Boom Animations Inc., and cited the ventures they had involved earlier.  These included animation films Hanuman, Princess and the Frog, etc.
            In her introduction of the new softwares, Storyboard and harmony, Ms. Vogelesang demonstrated how these can be exploited.  While Storyboard is meant for Home users, Harmony is a 2-D animation software suited for Network Animations.

The Lecture demo was concluded with an interaction with the audience.  Shri Ramkumar Ganesan, Shri Dharan Mandrayar, and a few of the audience raised some questions based on the demo which were answered by Ms. Vogelsang.
