CHENNAI: Do you enjoy reciting dialogues from Sivaji Ganesan's `Vietnam Veedu' or `Gauravam?' Hardcore fans like you may find V. Raghavendran's web site, http://www.nadigarthilagam.com,/ interesting.
In the section with information on the legend's films and co-artistes, browsers could find details on the year a particular film was made, the director, the basic storyline and the role played by the protagonist.
The web site throws up an opportunity for fans to recall characters played by the actor in films ranging from `Parasakthi,' Sivaji's first film, to `Mudhal Mariyadhai' and `Thevar Magan.'
More details
There are also sections on films that reached the hundred-day mark and others that saw silver jubilee screenings.
After retirement, Mr. Raghavendran, who was eager to compile information on his idol, worked for about six months. "I wanted the web site to have comprehensive information on the actor," he says.

"nadigarthilagam.com is an interesting and informative site on noted actor Shivaji Ganesan. .... As the introduction in the site says ...The site contains rare information about the silver jubilee films of Shivaji, the directors, music directors and heroies he had worked with, awards and titles won by him etc. Starting from the film Parasakthi (1952), the details of all the movies of Shivaji Ganesan with regard to its date of release, producer, director, story, screenplay, dialogue writer, music director, cinematographer, heroine, co-star are furnished in a tabular form. This is indeed a treasure trove of information. A note about Shivaji's walking style as mentioned in the site makes interesting reading...."
